We are on holiday!

Tuesday 5th July

For a moment it seemed all was against us……..we were covid close contacts, half the family fell to a vomity bug, a 200ml rain forecast threatened to flood us in and we had no power to get the last things done! However, the rain went north, no one got covid, the sick recovered and we left…..only 2 days late! First stop Braidwood, after a last minute realisation that our rego was almost due and we needed a pink slip 🤪.

Next stop at Gundagai for a picnic where we enjoyed some much missed sunshine. We then pushed through to Hay, watching a spectacular sunset for the last hour of driving before settling into a cabin at a caravan park. The kids now think our camping trip is all about bunkbeds,tv and heating!
